Real leaders take responsibility. They admit when they're wrong and take ownership of their mistakes. Pretend leaders shirk responsibility and blame others for their mistakes. Real leaders view taking responsibility for mistakes as a strength, while pretend leaders view it as a weakness.

While President Harry Truman famously had a sign on his desk that read "The Buck Stops Here," President Joe Biden has never met a buck he didn't pass. The list is long.

Without shame, Biden first blamed his intentionally created border crisis on his predecessor, Donald Trump. He now blames it on congressional Republicans, not enough money, and the lack of authority to unilaterally stop the ever-increasing surge of illegal aliens streaming across the southwest border.

As gas prices skyrocketed, Biden blamed oil "greedy" oil companies for taking "windfall" profits, as everyday Americans struggled at the pump while he continued his war on fossil fuels.

As tens of millions of hardworking Americans continue to struggle to make ends meet under Bidenomics, which led to Bidenflation, the cowardly-lion president continues to insist that the economy is strong and that the American people just don't understand how well off they are.

Now, with grocery prices continuing to soar, buck-passing Biden is  attempting his most fantastical sleight-of-hand trick, yet: blaming grocery stores for "ripping people off." 

Yes, really.

Biden's absurd remarks Biden's remarks came during a speech at the First in the Nation Dinner in Columbia, South Carolina.

Inflation is coming down. It’s now lower in America than any other major economy in the world. The cost of eggs, milk, chicken, gas, and so many other essential items have come down. But for all we’ve done to bring prices down, there are still too many corporations in America ripping people off: price gouging, junk fees, greedflation, shrinkflation.

Setting aside the likelihood that Joe Biden hasn't gone grocery shopping in decades, the guy's either delusional, intentionally lying, or both. Yes, gas prices have come down — but grocery prices? Moreover, while the embattled president claims grocery prices are down, he then blames corporations for price-gouging. Which is it, Joe? You can't have it both ways, bud.

Americans as 'Suckers'

Never afraid to blame Middle America, Biden said:

Well, it’s going to stop. Americans, we’re tired of being played for suckers. And that’s why we’re going to keep these guys — keep on them and get the prices down.

The only "suckers," Joe, were the 2020 voters who fell for your lies — which just keep coming.

According to a mid-January Axios Vibes survey by The Harris Poll, 59 percent of respondents felt "angry, anxious or resigned" while shopping for groceries — with anger being the most common emotion. Seventy-two percent said groceries are where they most feel the effects of inflation. And two-thirds think food will keep getting more expensive. 

Does that sound like "suckers," Joe? These people shop. Most are on fixed incomes. Many are struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, you stand at podiums, disconnected from reality, and read words written for you by others — most of which you have no understanding. So, Joe, who's the sucker, here?
