From Hillary Clinton to Nancy Pelosi to MSNBC and "The View," the intense hatred of Donald Trump has never waned. If anything, Trump Derangement Syndrome is more virulent today than it's ever been. But as it turns out, some things are even more important to some Trump haters than hating Trump.

Just ask left-wing Trump-loathing Hollywood actor Michael Rapaport.

As my colleague Nick Arama reported in November 2023, the foul-mouthed Trump-hating actor said at the time that voting for Trump in the 2024 presidential election was "on the table," given the disastrous presidency of Joe Biden.

Welp, more than two months later, as Biden's dumpster-fire presidency has only worsened, and the embattled president's patronization of American citizens ahead of the November election has grown more nauseating, Rapaport took to X on Thursday to let his followers know that a vote for Trump is still "really on the table."

Rapaport posted that he's still considering voting for “P!g D!ck” — his long-standing nickname for Trump — along with a recent quote from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) saying Biden must tell Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu that the war in Gaza “must not continue” if he (Biden) wants to win re-election in November.

Bernie Sanders, born into a working-class Jewish family and raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, is hardly a fan of Israel. The Vermont senator has battled with congressional Democrats over support for the Jewish State in the aftermath of the Hamas terrorist attack over multiple issues, including his January Senate resolution that would have forced the Biden administration to look into potential human rights abuses committed by Israel in its war with Hamas in Gaza. Democrats joined Republicans to overwhelmingly defeat the measure.

In late November 2023, Sanders said in a statement that military aid to Israel should be conditioned on a “fundamental change in their military and political positions.” 

Those conditions include “an end to the indiscriminate bombing which has taken thousands of civilian lives and a significant pause in military operations,” allowing displaced Gazans to return to their homes, forbidding the “long-term Israeli re-occupation or blockade of Gaza,” ending settler violence in the occupied West Bank and “a freeze on settlement expansion,” as well as a renewed commitment to peace talks and a pursuit to a two-state solution to the decades-long conflict.

“While Israel has the right to go after Hamas, Netanyahu’s right-wing extremist government does not have the right to wage almost total warfare against the Palestinian people,” Sanders said, referring to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Sanders, who is Jewish, had faced blowback from progressives for not explicitly supporting a cease-fire.

Bernie Sanders, a Jew, staunchly opposing the Jewish State of Israel, in effect leading left-wing Trump loather Michael Rapaport to consider voting for Trump for president, while embattled Joe Biden continues to flirt with pro-Palestinian leftists.

Stranger things have happened in politics — and I suspect even stranger things will happen over the next ten months.

Rapaport is among a small group of Hollywood celebrities who have broken with the far-left to publicly support Israel in the aftermath of the horrific October 7 Hamas attack that left more than 1,200 Israeli men, women, and children slaughtered.
