Not that MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace’s arms-length-at-best relationship with the truth is news, but the self-loathing former Republican’s ridiculous take on Critical Race Theory “lies” being responsible for Virginia Democrats across the board losing their asses in Tuesday’s election was impressive — even for her.

Let’s kick it off with this astonishing, laugh-out-loud claim by the intrepid Ms. Wallace:

“Critical Race Theory, which isn’t real, turned the suburbs 15 points to the Trump insurrection endorsed Republican.”

Nonetheless, here’s stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome-riddled Wallace — in all of her PMSNBC glory, ladies and gentlemen. (Emphasis, mine.)

“I think we know the answer to some of this. I watched Glenn Youngkin’s interviews on Fox News and he did nothing — he did not — I mean — he worshipped at the altar of Donald Trump on Fox News.

He flew an insurrection flag at his rallies. He simply didn’t — he played dumb about a Zoom rally. He didn’t really put much distance between himself and Donald Trump on ‘The Big Lie’ or the deadly insurrection, in which police officers were maimed by a flag pole.

So, I think that the real ominous thing is that [she then does air quotes] ‘Critical Race Theory’ — which isn’t real — turned the suburbs 15 points to the Trump insurrection endorsed Republican. What do Democrats do about that?

Oh, where to begin.

First, Ms. Wallace — and don’t get me wrong; I love every minute of it — you people still don’t realize that obsessively beating the Donald Trump drum 24×7 only serves to defeat Democrats. That horse is now forever dead, which you and your fellow TDS-riddled pals are incapable of understanding.

Second, your ridiculous claim that Critical Race Theory “isn’t real” flies in the face of reality. Period. Third, please continue doing exactly what you’re doing, mmkay?

And, Nicolle? How ’bout just for grins we check in with writer and conservative researcher Chris Rufo — who, unlike you, knows a helluva lot about Critical Race Theory — for the facts, shall we?

Under the Northam administration, Superintendent of Public Instruction James Lane sent a memo to Virginia public schools endorsing “Foundations of Critical Race Theory in Education,” calling it an “important analytic tool” that can “further spur developments in education.”

Right now, on its website, the Virginia Department of Education recommends “Critical Race Theory in Education” as a “best practice” and derives its definitions of “racism,” “white supremacy,” and “education equity” explicitly from “critical race theory.”

How’s that taste, Nicolle?

Speaking of McAuliffe getting his ass handed to him by Virginia voters, not only did he say during a debate with now-governor-elect Glenn Youngkin— and continue to say — parents should have no say in their children’s education; he also claimed Virginia schools don’t teach (indoctrinate children with) Critical Race Theory, even though it was his administration in 2015 that reportedly told school systems to embrace it.

Democrats and pretend-journalists. Gotta love ’em.

OR NOT.
