OK who is this woman and what has she done with Nancy Pelosi?
The hyper-partisan, Stage-4 Trump Derangement Syndrome House Speaker not only said on Friday that President Applesauce Brain Joe Biden does not have the power to “forgive” student loan debt — shift the burden to U.S. taxpayers — but also that she doesn’t think it’s fair, anyway.
Incidentally, there’s this:
Over 415 organizations, hundreds of economists and academics, 80 lawmakers in the House and Senate, dozens of attorneys general, Harvard Law, and many others agree the president has the power to cancel student debt.
Consider the sources, but that’s another argument for another time.
.@SpeakerPelosi is just wrong on this one.

Anyway, again, a moment of clarity for San Fran Nan, or has she finally gone around the bend?
Left-wing fools (socialists) like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continue to push Biden to “cancel” billions of dollars of contractual federal student debt, but Pelosi — of all Democrats — made it clear she’s opposed to it, as reported by Politico.
Even better? Pelosi said — in effect — that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who has repeatedly said Biden could do it with “a flick of the pen,” is full of crap.
“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not. He can postpone, he can delay, but he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress.
“That’s a policy discussion. But the president can’t do it, so that’s not even a discussion. Not everybody realizes that, but the president can only postpone, delay, but not forgive.”
Then, inexplicably, Pelosi went even further — borrowing the legit argument of conservatives.
“Suppose … your child just decided they, at this time, [do] not want to go to college, but you’re paying taxes to forgive somebody else’s obligations, you may not be happy about that.”
Wait — huh? Nancy? You OK?

So, how to put this, tactfully? What the hell?
First, we’re well aware of how drunk with power Madam Speaker is. She always has been. It appears that — as was the case, 24×7, for four years when Donald Trump was in the White House, she is loath to allow anyone to usurp her “power.” But again, actually, adopting the position on federal student loan debt held by conservatives?
I got nothin’.
Other than, of course, Pelosi perhaps reading polls that suggest the majority of voters don’t support student loan forgiveness. I mean, it’s not like Democrats don’t support or oppose anything without at least one eye on the voting booth — present or future.
