Ric Grenell, former acting Director of National Intelligence, leveled a serious charge at House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) in a Thursday tweet.
Grenell accused Schiff and his team of regularly leaking classified information.
The festivities began when Schiff, while commending Joe Biden — we’re going to see 24×7 “commending Joe Biden” from both the Democrat Party and its liberal media lapdogs — for his choice of Avril Haines as Director of National Intelligence, took a cheap shot at Grenell and outgoing DNI John Ratcliffe, accusing them of “terrible leadership.”
“The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, probably the most devastated of all of the agencies by terrible leadership of people like Rick [sic] Grenell and John Ratcliffe.”
Grenell fired back, accusing Schiff and his team of regularly leaking classified information.
“Facts:
-Schiff wouldn’t return my call to coordinate on DNI reforms.
-[T]he reforms were asked for by career officials for years.
-Schiff complained when I appointed the 1st female head of counterterrorism (a career person).
-Schiff & team regularly leaked classified information.”
Hmm. Adam Schiff or Ric Grenell. Tough choice. Who do you believe? Me too.

Schiff’s office of course did not “immediately return a call” to Washington Examiner about Grenell’s charges, but he did deny leaking classified information in August, in response to similar charges by then-President Donald Trump.
And Schiff being Schiff, his response was shifty as hell:
“I haven’t. My staff hasn’t. I can’t speak for what all the members of the committee have done or not done, including a lot of the Republican members.”
Oh, please. Why would Republicans have leaked information you were accused of having leaked in an effort to damage Trump, congressman?
Rep. Adam Schiff responds to President Trump’s accusations of leaks: “I haven’t. My staff hasn’t. … Leaks are always improper and sometimes they’re illegal. But of course this is a falsehood, yet again, another lie by the President” #CNNSOTU pic.twitter.com/W2oCnTiuaZ

Uh-huh, Adam. Given your stellar reputation for honesty, and all.
Remember when you were widely accused of lying about having “smoking gun” evidence of “collusion” between Donald Trump and Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election, as reported by the New York Post and other media outlets? How’d that all play out?
Not only did Schiff never present evidence he never had; after more than $32 million dollars and the 448-page Mueller Report, ZERO evidence had been found to implicate Trump or members of his campaign staff of being involved in illegal activity with Russia.
Sorry, Adam. I’m calling BS on anything that comes out of your mouth.
