Biden, Sanders Tweet Pandering Messages About Walter Wallace Shooting; NYPD Sergeants Union Torches Them With FACTS

Rioting, looting, and vandalism raged out of control in Philadelphia again on Wednesday night in the aftermath of police officers on Monday shooting and killing a 27-year-old Black man holding a knife who ignored orders to stop walking toward them.

As was the case with the deaths of George Floyd during a police action in Minneapolis in May, and Breonna Taylor in Louisville during a March drug raid, those who are inclined to rush to judgment did so within moments of news of the Wallace shooting occurring.

Among those rushing to judgment were Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who responded not unlike Barack “If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon” Obama in the aftermath of the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

First, let’s watch the video — again, for many of us — then check in with Joe and Bernie for their takes on the incident. Warning: the following video contains graphic content.

In quintessential Rahm Emanuel style — “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste” — Biden tweeted, or should I say “had tweeted for him”:

“Our hearts are broken for the family of Walter Wallace Jr., and for those suffering the emotional weight of learning about another Black life in America lost. Walter’s life mattered.”

Unbelievable? Of course, not — it’s what Democrats do.

Except Biden “forgot” to tell “the rest of the story.” No problem. As reported by the New York Post, the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association was more than happy to fill in the blanks for pandering Joe — including the fact that Biden has been endorsed by exactly ZERO police organizations in America.

“FACT: Walter Wallace was armed with a knife & trying to kill 2 uniform police officers. Do the 2 officers lives’ not matter to you? This further explains why NOT ONE police organization in the USA has endorsed you.”

Ouch. And well deserved. Next up, the doddering old Democrat Socialist weighed in on Wallace’s death, in even more “rush to judgment” fashion:

“Walter Wallace should be alive today, and our thoughts are with his loved ones. The police responsible for murdering him in front of his mother instead of getting him the medical attention he needed should be arrested, investigated, and prosecuted by the Justice Department.”

The NYPD sergeants union was more than happy to straighten Sanders out, given his irresponsible decision to become judge, jury, and execution of the police officers involved in the incident —including a few well-placed emojis to make their point.

“Walter Wallace was a career criminal ARMED WITH A KNIFE. He wasn’t waving it to cut 🥬🍅🥑🥕🥦🍍. He was arrested for assaulting his own mother. Are you really that much of a fool, stop lying to the people.”

Ooh that had to leave a mark. Clean-up in aisle four.

In contrast to Biden, Sanders, and any number of other Democrats and the lapdog liberal media, President Donald Trump’s reaction was, well, presidential.

“I saw the event — everybody did, it was on television — it was a terrible event. I guess that’s being looked at very strongly. We have federal — the federal government is looking at it also. But the rioting in Philadelphia, you have to stop it.”

In fairness, Biden also condemned the rioting, but — and call me skeptical — I’ll go out on a limb and suggest that he did so only to appease those who believe he should have. The truth is, Democrats are eager to exploit these types of incidents — solely with an eye on the ballot box. Then again, it’s why they support or oppose everything else.
