She. Just. Can’t. Stop. Hillary Clinton said in a New York Times Opinion podcast dropped on Monday that a female president would have done a better job managing the COVID pandemic than Donald Trump. “Especially,” she added — wait for it — “if it were me.”
Then it got even worse. You ready?
“I have no doubt, especially if it were me. No, I mean I was born for that. I mean that’s why I knew I’d be a good president. I was ready for crises and emergencies and I would have done what you see these women leaders doing.
“You listen to the science, you bring in people in an open, inclusive way, you communicate constantly, you make the case by explaining why what you’re doing is in the long-term interest, not only of health but also of the economy.”
Welp, there ya go. Somebody tell Donald Trump to just do that ⬆️ and COVID will simply vanish, the sun will come out, the birds will sing, and all will be well in the Land of Hillary.
The two-time, losing Democrat presidential candidate also borrowed the old, infamous line from Obama stooge Rahm Emanuel, telling Kara Swisher, the host of NYT Opinion’s “Sway,” that COVID “would be a terrible crisis to waste,” and that Democrats should use the pandemic to promote “universal health care” — government-managed health care.
And Hillary being Hillary, she also accused Trump of using “racist rhetoric” to describe a virus that not only originated in China, but a virus that the Communist government allowed to escape from their country.
As captured by the Daily Wire, here are a few more gems from the woman who will believe she was cheated out of the 2016 presidential election by Donald Trump and Russia until the day she dies. Then again, what if she lives forever — like some creepy vampiress?
Clinton told Swisher most Republicans “have been cowards, spineless enablers” of President Trump.
“Most Republicans are going to want to close the page,” she said. “They want to see him gone as much as we do, but they can’t say it publicly.”
At one point, Swisher asked, “Would you say ‘lock him up?” Clinton: “No, I would never say that. […] “I believe in the rule of law, unlike some of these people.”
Clinton said she “can’t entertain the idea of him winning. […] It would cause cognitive dissonance of a grave degree.”
“[I]t makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we’d have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions. And damaging of our norms and our values. And lessening of our leadership. And the list goes on.”
And then this: “I think I live rent-free in his head.”
Pot, meet kettle. C’mon, Hillary! Not only does President Donald Trump live rent-free in your head 24x7x365; the 2016 election lives there right along with him. You have whined and moaned for four years about how you were robbed. Remember? That big fat “collusion” nothingburger that you started? How’d that taste?
Moreover, Hillary? You blamed everyone and everything but yourself for losing. Here’s a short list of your excuses, as compiled by Newsweek:
- Sexism
- Barack Obama
- Bernie Sanders
- James Comey
- Self-Hating Women
- The Media (LOL)
- Uninformed Voters
- Voter Suppression
- Russia
- Your Campaign Staff
- The Democrat National Committee Campaign
- Finance Laws
- Jill Stein
- The Electoral College
- Anthony Weiner
Yep, the only name missing from that list is Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Here’s the thing.
I hear from people all the time who say they wish Hillary Clinton would just ride off into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again. Same thing with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, AOC, and any number of other Democrats. I could not disagree more. As Rush Limbaugh has said for more than 30 years, the more we listen to these people; the more we let them talk — the more they tell us exactly who they are.
Anyone who listens to Hillary Rodham Clinton for any time at all knows exactly who — and what — she is. I think I’ll just leave this here and let you decide what that is.
