Say whatever you want about Donald J. Trump, but there is no one better on the planet who can send Democrats into apoplectic meltdown in a nanosecond than the 45th president of the United States.
Such was the case on Friday when Trump joked with supporters at a rally in Macon, Georgia, that he wouldn’t “feel so good” if he lost the election to Joe Biden, and might have to “leave the country” if he does.
Before we continue, the operative word in the prior sentence is joked.
Trump spoke for nearly two hours before the energized crowd at an event that can only be described — by me, at least — as a classic Trumpalooza. Both Trump and the crowd were in rare form.
White House director of social media Dan Scavino posted pictures of the “yuuge” crowd on Twitter.

Scavino also posted video of the dramatic opening of the rally — crank up the volume on your speakers for this one.

It was obvious that Trump was more than ready to let loose, after just 24 hours earlier going toe-to-toe with liberal ankle-biter pretend-moderator Savannah Guthrie during the pretend town hall on NBC, which I covered in a Friday article titled Trump’s Town Hall ‘Debate Opponent’ Savannah Guthrie Torched Over Ridiculous Bias.
In reaction to the cheering crowd, Trump talked about the same kind of spirit “all over the country.”
“I will deliver optimism, opportunity, and hope, and that’s what we’re doing, and this is why we have this kind of spirit, and I hate to say it because I don’t want to insult Georgia, but it’s this way all over our country.”
Incidentally, while detractors on the Left have criticized Trump for, shall we say, his “lack of oratorical skills,” I must say that after decades of watching presidential speeches, I have not seen anyone better than this guy at playing off a crowd — and his crowds playing off him.
As he has done at other rallies, Trump joked about Biden’s “rallies” in contrast to his own — with good reason, given not only the sparse attendance at Biden’s “events,” but also the herculean efforts by the Biden campaign to conceal the truth about the staging.
“I shouldn’t joke, because you know what? I’m running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics [which] puts pressure on me. Could you imagine if I lose?
“My whole life, what am I gonna do? I’m gonna say ‘I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics.’ I’m not gonna feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country? I don’t know.”
Obvious humor. Obvious humor that TDS-riddled Democrats jumped all over, and promptly took to social media to tell Trump not to let the door hit him on the way out — including Team Biden.

And HuffPost.
And finally trump says he might leave the country if he loses, something I can agree with. pic.twitter.com/9YFs5Natz2

And Build Studios Executive Producer Suzanne Lindbergh.
That would be amazing!!! Hoping it’s the one promise he actually keeps.

The Lincoln Group PAC, formed by Never-Trumper “conservatives,” also joined in, of course.
Promise? https://t.co/CNmtI6ENn3

This Twitter user was obviously elated by the “news.”
@realDonaldTrump
Is that a promise … because we’ll hold you to it? pic.twitter.com/oQ0htTZTrM— SB2019 (@DSBLuvsDogs) October 17, 2020
This guy went with a very bad drawing of Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Can’t even be certain that Putin would take him, since he would have failed at destroying our democracy, the job with which he had been tasked. pic.twitter.com/YwgSdyR6jk

And finally, who couldn’t love this idiocy?

And on and on it went — probably still going strong. Again, gotta love Trump’s ability to bring out “the best” in lefties.
Trump also continued his onslaught against Biden’s “family” — no doubt an attempt to send Biden off the rails into one of his familiar meltdowns.
If you missed the rally and are inclined to watch the whole thing, here ya go.
Yep, a good time was had by all. Except for the triggered Left, that is.
