Conservative author and activist Candace Owens, and NBA superstar-turned law enforcement expert LeBron James, are among Black personalities who have most spoken out on racial issues in America in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in May.

On Sunday, the former took the latter to task over his running commentary; most recently his comments in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

During a Sunday appearance on “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Owens called out James for his “hypocrisy” over his “tough” life as a Black man, who “lives in a one hundred million dollar mansion in Bel Air.”

As I reported in late August in a piece titled LeBron Runs His Mouth About Kenosha Shooting; Leo Terrell Shows Up With a Few Suggestions, James spoke at length during an impromptu interview about the Kenosha shooting, at one point telling reporters how “terrified” he is to be Black in America.

“We are scared as Black people in America. … Black men, Black women, Black kids. We are terrified.”

Nonsense, Owens told Levin: “I always say, if you’re suffering through racism, please give me some of that,” referring to James, who is reportedly worth in excess of $450 million.

“He’s got a White gardener, a White chef, all various White people that work for him, White driver. So if that’s racism, LeBron, please, please share some of that with the rest of us.”

During a discussion on Democratic Socialism and Marxism, host Mark Levin pointed out that while Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and others tout Marxism, Karl Marx was in fact a racist.

“I wonder how many people on the hard Left, particularly Black Lives Matter, know that Marx was a racist, and this Marxist ideology, when you look all over the world […] you have groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa, quite frankly the Democrat Party, marching behind this banner. What do you make of that?”

Owens, whose recent book is titled “Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape From the Liberal Plantation,” agreed, suggesting that Karl Marx would have been against Black Americans.

“I actually spend time in this book talking about who Karl Marx was, and what he believed in. And just like you said, he was against faith, against family, very against religion, and would have been against Black America, and yet you see us taking up those principles.”

Owens took aim at the public school system, telling Levin that Marxism in practice is “something that Black Americans need to be educated about,” while also recounting her own early political development, which she blamed on indoctrination in public schools.

“We are seeing that they’re replacing education with indoctrination. If you are a Black American and you go through the public school system like I did, you come out and you are basically a propagandist for the Left, and you don’t realize it.

I started on the Left. Although I was not politically active, I believed in all of the indoctrination; I believed just four short years ago that Republicans were racist, that conservatives were racist, and that being a Black person and being a woman disadvantaged me in life.”

“I’m a pretty smart person,” she said, “These were things that I learned actively.” And then this truth bomb:

“If we continue to allow the Democrat Party to control education, we are guaranteeing them the future.”

BINGO.

Owens’s observations are not only spot-on, her book reveals the reality of the Democrat Plantation. Blacks, solely because of the color of their skin, are required to reside on the Democrat Plantation — in the eyes of the Left. As are all people of color, members of the gay community, Muslim Americans, all minority groups, and, of course, women.

And if any of the above refuse to do so?

They are to be castigated, ridiculed, destroyed if possible, and ignored. If that doesn’t define racism, sexism, stereotyping of the LGBTQ community, and religious persecution, I don’t know what does.

As for LeBron James, he has the best of both worlds, doesn’t he?

James can run his mouth about being a “terrified” Black man in America to his heart’s content. Truth is, he escaped the Democrat Plantation long ago, by virtue of being able to play basketball.

Yeah, “tough” as hell country to grow up in, ‘Bron.

As a result, James isn’t beholden to the Democrat Party to protect him from evil conservatives, “racist” White cops, or anyone else. Despite his protestations to the contrary, the “terrified” basketball player has more money and protection than he’ll ever need — much of it provided by White Americans he now, at least tacitly, trashes.

LeBron James is a hypocrite. Candace Owens speaks conservative truth to liberal power. That said, the latter is far braver than the former.
