The Trump campaign on Friday released a brutally perfect campaign ad torching House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a trip to her “closed” hair salon in San Francisco without a wearing a mask, only to then play the victim by smugly claiming she was “set up” after getting caught.

Throughout the two-minute ad, as reported by the Daily Wire, Pelosi is repeatedly referred to as “Nancy Antoinette,” a reference to Marie Antoinette, the last queen of France before the French Revolution, who has been characterized throughout history as a superficial elitist who cared little for the people. In other words, Nancy Pelosi 1.0.

Interspersed throughout the ad are clips of Pelosi hypocritically admonishing Americans to wear masks wherever they go, yet not wearing a mask herself when she visited her salon on Monday.

As Daily Wire noted, the brutal ad reaches its most unsettling moment with clips showing distraught salon owner Erica Kious talking about how online trolls have attacked her and threatened to destroy her — for the “crime” of revealing the truth about Pelosi’s hypocrisy.

“Blow them out of office this November,” the ad says in closing.

Fox News contributor Dan Bongino was apparently fond of the ad.

And on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany played an endless loop of Pelosi’s now-infamous clandestine trip to the salon, mocking the Speaker with all her might:

“Two briefings ago, I asked where is Nancy Pelosi. Today, I can announce we have found Nancy Pelosi. As you can see, we found Nancy Pelosi going into her hair salon. We will be playing the video on loop for all of you to see during the duration of this introduction […] Apparently the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”

Even The Babylon Bee — the best satire site on the planet, IMHO — got in on the act. The Bee “report” reads, in part:

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Nancy Pelosi was minding her own business this week when a salon owner called her and said in a gravelly voice, “Listen, toots — I got a proposition for ya.”

The salon owner then explained how she wanted her to come in to get a perm, absolutely free. “It’s a great deal — no strings attached. No funny business. Take it or leave it. Come around back. No cops.”

Pelosi showed up for the appointment but felt uneasy from the beginning since the salon owner wore a shirt saying “I HATE NANCY PELOSI.” But despite her misgivings, she continued on, really needing to get her hair done and her skin tightened.

After Pelosi picked up on the “setup,” she leaped to her feet and made a break for it, screaming for her chauffeur to start the car. “Step on it, Bugsy!” she shouted at her getaway driver. “It’s a setup!”
