An increasing number of Democrats are convinced that Donald Trump will refuse to voluntarily leave the White House if he loses the election in November. None of them appear to be more paranoid about the prospect than Trump’s presumed opponent Joe Biden.
Joe and the Democrats have zero evidence on which to base such nonsense, mind you, but when has lack of proof ever stopped Joe and the Democrats from wild speculation about all things Trump?
Nonetheless, during a Wednesday night appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” Biden not only told host Trevor Noah he’s convinced Trump is “going to try to steal this election” — he has also thought about what he would do if Trump loses and refuses to leave.
“It’s my greatest concern — my single greatest concern. This president is going to try to steal this election.”
And if Trump does lose, and he does refuse to leave, Joe? Then what?
“You have so many rank-and-file military personnel saying ‘Whoa, we’re not a military state — this is not who we are.’ I promise you and I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.”
Ironically, Biden also accused Trump of spreading unproven conspiracy theories, yet here he his, with zero proof, “absolutely convinced” that the U.S. military will have to remove Trump from office if he loses. Moreover, as we reported in April, this isn’t Joe’s first conspiracy-spreading rodeo about Trump’s evil election plans.

So here’s the question. Does Biden really think Trump is going to try to (pick one, or more) postpone the election, steal the election, or refuse to leave the White House if he loses?
Or, is Joe simply being a “good” Democrat — you know, like all “good” Democrats — and attempting to further paint Trump as a mentally-unstable megalomaniac who had no business anywhere near the Oval Office in the first place?
If the case is the latter, Biden has an ally in Trump’s “Art of the Deal” co-author Tony Schwartz, who said on MSNBC’s “The Beat With Ari Melber” on Thursday that “anything goes” with “psychopath” Trump, for whom a loss in November would be “unthinkable.”
So how sure is Schwartz that Biden’s right about Trump?
“100 percent. […] He is, as I’ve written, a psychopath, meaning he is missing the two ingredients that are critical and common for human beings. Number one, conscience, and number two, empathy. Therefore, anything goes for Trump.
And why does he so strongly believe that Trump might very well refuse to voluntarily leave office if he loses?
“[T]hink about this. The minute he leaves office, his life, for all practical purposes, from his perspective, is over — because at a minimum, he loses the vast percentage of his power and his ability to dominate. And believe me, he’s gotten used to that, and giving it up is unthinkable.”
So again, Joe. Which is it?
Do you really believe your own histrionic rhetoric, or are you just being a “good” Democrat and fanning the flames about the evil intentions of diabolical Donald? After all, Democrats have been trying to remove the guy from office from the nanosecond he won the election.
