Pepsi has announced they are pulling their new ad featuring Kendall Jenner at a generic protest rally after public backlash in a statement just released.

“Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

This is all so dumb I can’t stand it. This is an ad for soda or Pop depending on your region. There is nothing wrong with the the spot.

The ad clearly targeted a young demographic with it’s imagery of protests, in the big city. However, everyone is offended about everything all the time, now, so I don’t know why I thought this would be any different.
