Timing is everything.
Just minutes before the Sunday shows were about to start the White House released a statement on Donald Trump’s claims of wiretapping by the Obama Administration.

The statement makes it clear that the Trump White House isn’t quite done with Obama just yet. Calling the reports troubling, the Trump administration is nearly demanding an investigation into the claims now.
“President Donald J. Trump is requesting that as part of their investigation into Russian activity, the congressional intelligence committees exercise their oversight authority to determine whether executive branch investigative powers were abused in 2016.”
As this statement hits the newsrooms, it will be interesting to see if the various hosts include the calls for an investigation in their panel discussions.
