Oh you remember this story, a muslim woman was terrorized in a New York subway by a group of Trump supporters. The media latched on to rather quickly to point out the “hate” in the hearts of Republicans and Trump voters. We’ve been subjected to lectures, and asked to denounce the attack. Get your shocked face ready…. She made it up. The whole thing never happened. She lied. Now she’s the one being arrested.

Yasmin Seweid, 18, has been charged with filing a false report, a police source said.
Seweid had numerous opportunities to admit the incident never happened but again and again stood by her story, the source said.
Drunk men screaming ‘Trump’ attack Muslim straphanger, cops say
On Wednesday, after again being confronted with questions from detectives increasingly suspicious of her story she recanted and said she made it all up, citing family problems.
There were no “drunk white men” yelling at her. There was no altercation at all. So why would she report this? Family problems, she says. This I’ll believe. If her family believes in honor killings, which are on the rise. She may have been running late. Or keeping company with an unchaperoned male. Both capital offenses under their law.
I was among those concerned last week when it appeared the beautiful young woman went missing. It was hard not to assume the worst. I was relieved to hear that she was found safe and sound. Now I’m thinking that she “disappeared” after realizing the cops had seen through her story.
Another “Hate Crime” glorified by the media, another hoax. Countless news cycles on things that didn’t even happen. How many times will we fall for this trick? Seweid knew this event was pure fiction, yet for some reason reported it anyway. She had to know the media would fall all over themselves for it, and she fed their hunger. She may have been more afraid of her family then the cops, but don’t look for that headline any time soon. The media has no interest in where that inquiry might lead.
Someone has suggested that we follow a 24 hour rule on hate crimes and shootings. Maybe the media should follow that advice before making a victim out of a criminal, and vice versa.
