Jackie Evancho first came into America’s life almost six years ago, when she was a 10 year old contestant on the hit television show, “America’s Got Talent”. Now the talented 16 will be singing for President Trump at his inauguration.
The official account announced it on Twitter:

This won’t be the first trip to Washington for the gifted teen, she’s performed for President Obama in 2010 at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. She was the youngest solo artist to record Platinum sales at age 10.
ABC News put together some interesting background on the performer:
A classically trained soprano, Evancho was only 10 at the time she appeared on “AGT” in 2010 and quickly drew comparisons to Scottish singer Susan Boyle. Soon after “America’s Got Talent,” she released an EP, “O Holy Night,” which went platinum and made her the best-selling debut artist of 2010. That was followed by six albums, three of which debuted in Billboard 200’s top 10. With her latest track, “Apocalypse,” released earlier this year, she has moved into a more pop style.
She has three siblings, including a transgender sister, Juliet
Born Jacqueline Marie, Evancho was raised in Pittsburgh with her three siblings. Her father owned a security company and her mother a fashion business. Last year, her oldest sibling transitioned from Jacob to Juliet and made her public debut beside her famous sister at the Global Lyme Alliance’s annual gala.
“I actually cried because what worried me was that she was going to get teased,” Evancho told People. “She told me she was transgender, and I was actually very happy for her because she finally found herself, and she can be who she wants to be.”
Evancho also has a younger brother, Zachary, now 13, and sister, Rachel, now 12.
Yes. you read that correctly, she has a transgendered sister, who is 12. Doesn’t everyone these days? How do children know they are the wrong gender at that age? That is an essay for another day.
Evancho has earned her time in the spotlight, even at such a young age. She’s been putting in the work for years. In fact she’s met Trump before, when she performed for him a Mar-a-lago in Florida. She’s even performed for the Pope, when he visited the United States a few years back. This girl has talent and we’re lucky she’ll be sharing it with all of us on January 20th.
