The American people have long been fed a steady diet of Planned Parenthood propaganda.
President Obama, the Left, and the mainstream media have been telling us that we need Planned Parenthood (regardless of it’s dirty little abortion secret).
We’re told we need Planned Parenthood for “women’s health.” We’re told we need to pay Planned Parenthood half a billion of our tax dollars (even though it makes millions from abortion and the sale of murdered babies’ body parts).
We’re told that Planned Parenthood is indispensable, and that to defund it would be to defund women’s health.
And then the truth comes out. As Reuters reports:
Away from the headlines, however, the group is facing other major challenges, including one from a far different source: the Affordable Care Act, which it avidly supports.
Many formerly uninsured women who once depended on Planned Parenthood for low-cost access to birth control, abortions and other reproductive healthcare have gotten coverage under President Barack Obama’s healthcare law, making them less reliant on the organization’s 700 clinics.
In many states, Planned Parenthood is losing clients as newly insured patients turn to medical providers included in their health plan’s networks, according to data provided to Reuters and interviews with more than two dozen of its affiliates.
Wait! So why are we funding the largest abortion provider in America again?
The fact is we don’t need Planned Parenthood. Women don’t need Planned Parenthood. And babies certainly don’t need Planned Parenthood.
The American people deserve a multibillion-dollar refund. They’ve been sold a deadly lie.
But mark my words, Planned Parenthood will spin this. They will spin the loss in clients and revenue as the need for more tax dollars to subsidize their real business – abortion.
So the next time someone spouts off a phony Planned Parenthood propaganda point about how we need Planned Parenthood and anyone who says otherwise is anti-woman, remind them of the facts. Women have a choice in medical care, and they are rejecting Planned Parenthood. “Planned Parenthood client numbers nationwide are on the decline.” There are plenty of organizations ready, willing, and able to provide needed care. Oh, and don’t forget; Planned Parenthood doesn’t actually provide any of those mammograms its spin masters claim it does. It’s a fraud.
Women don’t need Planned Parenthood, and we don’t need to fund the abortion behemoth.
