I’m actually significantly less worried about Jeff Flake’s demanded FBI investigation into the Kavanaugh allegations than most, even though the FBI’s behavior in recent times has not left us with much to be confident about.

That said, it would be stupid to not be wary of the FBI’s contingent of Left-Wing activists willing to engineer a “win” for the Left.

Which is why I think the White House needs to – if it hasn’t already – make it clear that all interviews conducted in this process need to be recorded (both audio and video) in addition to being written up in Form 302s.

Simply put, the presuming of good faith on the part of your opponents and assuming there are limits to how low they are willing to go is an exercise in naivete and gross stupidity.
