My now-ex husband never made enough to even pay 1/4 of the bills, and I made 4x more than he did most years. So I couldn't fully stay home, but I engineered my career so that I was working from home at least half the time, and I worked a LOT of evenings and late into the night so that we could have that flexibility. I think I was sleep deprived for 18 years. Probably still am.
I never asked the government to subsidize us so I could do this - there was no way I was going to have someone else raise my kids, so I made it work.
So sick of hearing this. I want a T-shirt that screams "CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC AND I WANT TO KEEP IT!"
Former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) under President Donald Trump Richard Grenell has thoughts:
Tim looks a bit less terrified - but all I'm hearing now is "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH."
Two female moderators. What do you think?
I'm with you, Teri. Totally unsympathetic about it. My mother and two of my sisters raised kids by themselves and they found ways to be able to attend to my and their kids needs. I also know families like yours who made the sacrifice to ensure mom was able to stay home. It's a bullshit argument IMO.
The Peter Thiel School asks why we can't have an economy where mothers can afford to stay home. Vance is of that school, but he has to move to the center.
my wife is a mechanical engineer, she checked out of the workforce when our first was born. We made the sacrifice. Ditto.

(No, seriously, he actually said that on national television) pic.twitter.com/0jf05GqTmT
I want to be sympathetic on this issue, but my husband and I sacrificed a lot so that I could stay home with our four kids without help from anyone. I'm not a big fan of subsidizing others' life choices.

Oops! Even I can't tell them apart. Bob's right! LOL
Tim must be out of talking points because he is going back to "tax cuts for the rich."

Actually, it's Snorah that's pink jacket. Brennan is looking conservative in navy blue.
Yep.
We have to end this system of having the moderators decide what's important. If Vance wants to talk about something, I want to listen to him -- I don't actually care what Norah O'Donnell and Pink Jacket think the American people are concerned about.
