Donald Trump took the stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the fourth and final day of the Republican National Convention. The GOP nominee for president of the United States called for unity in his speech, detailed the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, and made clear that we're going to drill, baby, drill.
Trump detailed what took place in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday:
Let me begin this evening by expressing my gratitude to the American people for your outpouring of love and support following the assassination attempt at my rally on Saturday ... I’ll tell you what happened, and you’ll never hear it from me a second time, because it’s too painful to tell.

Trump accepted the GOP nomination to become President of the United States and called for national unity.
I am running to be President for all of America, not half of America, because there is no victory in winning for half of America. So tonight, with faith and devotion I proudly accept your nomination for President of the United States.

Throughout the RNC, speakers reminded Americans what life was like under the Trump administration, while the Democrats promised the world to voters but failed to deliver on their promises.
They said that the Republican Party is a big tent party where all are welcome. As the GOP is making gains with Hispanic voters, young voters, and Asian voters, Biden is losing support among their biggest voting bloc, which is black women.
Y’all accepted me despite my foul mouth and history. We are the big tent party now. Populists who care about the future of our children. The issues we care about are the issues everyone ACTUALLY cares about.

Tucker Carlson at RNC: After Assassination Attempt, 'Donald Trump...Became Leader of This Nation'
Most of the speakers hit the right talking points about policy and stories about Trump for those who watched the convention with an open mind and were undecided or unhappy with the Democratic Party. Hopefully, the GOP will grow, and as long as people get out the vote in droves, they will deliver a win for Trump-Vance, the majority in the Senate, all while maintaining the majority in the House.
