WATCH: Karine Jean-Pierre Delivers Another Blatant Whopper on Crime

Just when you thought Karine Jean-Pierre couldn't get any more blatant with her lies, she now blames Republicans for the crime wave in Washington, D.C.

So let me just be very clear -- all violent crime -- not just here, all violent crime anywhere is completely unacceptable... Every community in this country should feel safe, want to be safe...

Congressional Republicans they don't seem to feel that way, and I say this because the president has taken action from the first piece of legislation that he signed into law -- American Rescue Plan -- only Democrats voted for that, Republicans didn't vote for that. There was billions of dollars in that plan to deal with crime.

As a reminder, the reporter pointed out to KJP that D.C. has the highest murder rate in over two decades — since 1997. The mayor of D.C. is Democrat Muriel Bowser and the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia is Matthew Graves. For those not familiar with Graves, he was a campaign advisor for President Joe Biden.

Whether we talk about Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, among other big cities, they have a few things in common. Prior to San Francisco recalling their DA Chesa Boudin, all of these city District Attorney's were funded by billionaire George Soros.

Although SF has returned to a bit of normalcy thanks to new DA Brooke Jenkins, the "tenderloin" is infested with drugs, and they still have a lot of work to do to fix the city.

If KJP's analysis is correct and Republicans are the reason crime is rampant in D.C., although the mayor, U.S. Attorney, and president are all Democrats, why are voters in Los Angeles on the verge of throwing out Soros-funded George Gascon (D-CA)? People do not feel safe because whether it is LA, Kim Foxx's Chicago, or Larry Krasner's Philadelphia, criminals are committing the crime, but they are not doing time.

It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that there is a common denominator here. Counties that lock up criminals are safer than those that arrest the criminals but let them out a day later to commit more crimes.

A perfect example of this is Gascon's policies in Los Angeles compared to neighboring Orange County. DA Todd Spitzer has a good relationship with the police department, criminals know that if they commit a crime, they will do the time, and Spitzer's 2022 slogan was "No LA in OC," which led to a resounding win for the Orange County DA.

It doesn't matter how much KJP lies about crime, the voters, unfortunately, are experiencing the brunt of soft-on-crime, pro-criminal policies in some of the big cities in America.
