Elon Musk has a lot of money. So much money that he’s got what we out here in these media streets like to call, F-YOU money. He can spend billions of dollars just to make a point, and it looks like that’s exactly what he is trying to do with Twitter.

Don’t mistake the excitement from the right-wing as hero worship. What the right is reacting to is the  level 10, absolute master trolling of Musk’s move. At this point, it doesn’t matter much if his bid is completed. What Musk is doing is exposing the authoritarian, dictatorial, anti-free speech instincts of Big Tech and their political allies. The amount of panic displayed at simply the possibility of one billionaire taking over for another confirms what we on the right have been saying all along. The alt-left and their wealthy one-percenters have no interest in discussion. They want to control the narrative and the conversation. Not only that, they think they have the moral right to control it. The thought of not being in charge of who gets to say what has caused the mask to slip, and now the alt-left talking heads cannot help but announce loudly to the entire world that they believe only a select, ruling class should be deciding what people are allowed to say and hear.

The unwashed masses disgust them. If Musk is successful in his bid, they’ll be one seat closer to those disgusting working class people. And then what? Cats will lay down with dogs, the seas will rise, the moon will turn blood red. Or maybe we’ll all just keep typing our 280 characters at a time and go on with our lives. I’m betting on the latter, but don’t tell the progressive cranks. It’s fun to watch them melt down over freedom.
