California will be voting for a new governor in November and former disgraced Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is at the top of the race.

Newsom has some terrifying plans for California, including forcing a universal healthcare system on the state. Previous bills for universal healthcare have passed the California legislature, but the cost is so insurmountable that even Governor Jerry Brown vetoed the bills. There is just no way to pay for it.

Newsom doesn’t care. He doesn’t care about the voters or the taxpayers. In fact, he doesn’t even try to hide his disdain for legal voters.

On a recent Pod Save America appearance, Newsome said he would not use the legislature to pass universal healthcare. His point pretty much amounted to the idea that no one is really smart enough to “get it” so it has to be forced on the people.

Obamacare would not have happened if it was just a legislative fiat.

He also went on to say that the only way to pay for the state’s outrageous unfunded pension liabilities is to pass universal healthcare.

I’d broaden it well beyond a bill ‎that basically started a process if you ‎read 562 which the vast majority of ‎elected officials that were for and ‎against it didn’t — did not for and ‎against did not, because they would have actually known what it said, it would ‎created a committee that began a process ‎to come up with a strategy and plan to ‎finance and organize with 34 proscribed benefits a universal strategy for single payer financing. That process can be done without a bill. That process should be done by the next governor. And I’m committed to it for no other reason than Health Care’s devouring our budget. Health care in this state is the biggest driver of unfunded retirement benefits.

So let me get this straight…Gavin Newsom thinks paying for healthcare for every single person in the state would relieve the state of their significant fiduciary healthcare burden?

The ex-Mr. Kimberly Guilfoyle also proudly crows about how he passed universal healthcare for illegal immigrants while he was the mayor of San Francisco. He says he’s proud of it.

Mr. Newsom, I don’t know if you’ve heard but San Francisco is currently trying to dig itself out from a literal pile of sh**. The streets are swimming in needles, bodily fluids and homeless people. Nearly every person who isn’t living with 10 other people or making over $200K a year has been priced out the housing market. Tourism numbers are suffering and several corporations have already pulled out of their annual conventions in San Francisco because of the health risks and homeless issues. Oh, and your city is now under a declared state of emergency because of a Hep A outbreak.

Tell me again why we should be excited to have you jamming universal healthcare down our throats without one vote from the citizens?

I’ll wait.
