Smart Girl Podcast: SCOTUS FEVER!

Teri is off this week but April and Kira bravely carried on in the face of the news of Justice Kennedy’s retirement and the shocking SCOTUS ruling on union dues. Will women’s rights be overturned? Will gay rights be rolled back? Will April ever stop laughing at the downpour of leftist tears over the news coming from SCOTUS? Listen to find out and laugh along with the Smart Girls as they talk about some of the silliest Supreme Court hot takes from social media this week.

Kira on the SCOTUS ruling against pubic sector union extortion: This isn’t a corporate relationship. It’s like if a charity’s administrative office formed a union. If the front office at UNICEF or United Way formed a union. They’re unionizing against the people that donate the money to keep them open. It just doesn’t make sense.

April on how quickly the outrage du jour of children at the border took a back seat: It was never about the children so of course they’re not gonna care [now]. They’re going to be unhinged about this for the rest of the week. By Monday it’s literally going to be “What children?”.
