No, seriously. KFC has published a romance novel in honor of Mother’s Day.

Will moms choose to placate their people with a bucket of chicken on Mother’s Day while they sneak off for a bubble bath and a randy romance novel?  I don’t know if greasy chicken and romance really go together but the silly publicity ploy is cute and clever and has inspired an avalanche of alluring alliteration in this post.

In a time when too many companies are choosing to assault their customers with non-stop moralizing and political points in their advertising it is refreshing to see KFC just offer something a little fun for one of the biggest economic days of the year.
