Today, Planned Parenthood turns 100 years old.

This is entirely ironic considering they have helped to end the lives of millions whose birthdays will never be celebrated. The abortion giant makes money off of women’s wombs and their tiny, growing, human inhabitants. Science shows that life begins at conception, whether pro-aborts want to believe it or not.

Human development is a continuous process that begins when an oocyte (ovum) from a female is fertilized by a sperm (or spermatozoon) from a male. (p. 2); … but the embryo begins to develop as soon as the oocyte is fertilized. (p. 2); … Human development begins at fertilization, the process during which a male gamete or sperm … unites with a female gamete or oocyte … to form a single cell. This highly specialized, totipotent cell marks the beginning of each of us as a unique individual. (p. 18) Keith Moore and T.V.N. Only location and stage of development separate the newly conceived from the newly born baby. Planned Parenthood thrives upon the discrimination which only assigns worth to the latter.

And today, Planned Parenthood asks that we celebrate its birthday.

Margaret Sanger, the found of Planned Parenthood, had much to say about the “unwanted” in society, and how she intended to use birth control as a means to improve it. Regarding birth control, Sanger wrote:

It means the release and cultivation of the better elements in our society, and the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks–those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.

To the pro-aborts, the unwanted are those created from the personal choice of two consenting adults, who just don’t feel like having a baby, or through the criminal acts known as rape or incest. Regardless of beginning, all life is precious and all life should be protected. Why and how you were conceived has nothing to do with your worth. It is intrinsic.

Planned Parenthood and its promoters of bloodlust claim it exists for women’s health. The organization’s own yearly report shows this to be false.  As Life Site News reported, the 2014-2015 fiscal year was indeed a bloody one:

Planned Parenthood performed 323,999 abortions and received $553.7 million from U.S. taxpayers during the 2014-2015 fiscal year, according to its most recent annual report.

Although it saw 200,000 less patients and provided 11 percent fewer services than the previous year, its taxpayer subsidy increased by nearly $25 million.

And yet, they ask us to celebrate their birthday. I am one woman who will never do that.

One of our nation’s greatest sins is how easily we cast aside the most innocent and helpless among us by way of abortion. The Left praises Roe v. Wade, but it ushered in a holocaust of 57,000,000+ unborn children. We are a feckless people. We praise choice over conscience and call it brave. We encourage young girls and women to destroy what their bodies were created to do and call it women’s health. We insist females are strong but show we do not believe this to be true.

Today, there is nothing to celebrate after 100 years of Planned Parenthood. In fact, we should weep for the past they’ve created, the future that is yet to come, and a present where too much complacency exists.

I am proud to be a female who will always speak out against abortion and the clinics which promote and practice this legal homicide. We have many other places to frequent where all lives – born or unborn – can receive actual health care. Women deserve better and so do the babies they carry, whether they are planned or not.

Today, Planned Parenthood asks that we celebrate them. No. Instead, I and many others will promote what should always be promoted: that we can be pro-life, pro-woman, and pro-baby.

Today, I celebrate life. No one should be discarded.
