Mass casualties are being reported following an explosion at a nursing home in the suburbs of Philadelphia, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
In a post on Tuesday on X from Breaking 911, it showed video of emergency personnel and police responding to the unknown explosion at the Silver Lake Nursing Home. In the background, smoke can be seen rising up from the building.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. at the Silver Lake Nursing Home on the 900 block of Tower Road in Bristol Township.
There are multiple reports of people trapped, WPVI's Action News has learned.
Upper Makefield Township police are calling this a mass casualty incident. The public is being asked to avoid the area due to the large emergency response. The fire department has struck a third alarm for the response. There was no immediate word on any injuries.

At the time of this report, no other information has yet been provided as to what could have possibly caused the explosion.
However, the PhillyCrimeUpdate account on X has blamed the explosion on gas.
