First Lady Melania Trump shared numerous heartwarming moments with military kids at a Toys for Tots charity drive event at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
On Monday, Santa Claus hitched a ride with the first lady on a V-22 Osprey to base to visit the children of military families and volunteers at the U.S. Marines' annual Christmas event for children in need of some extra love.

"You help bring the delight of Christmas morning to millions of children, and you remind us all that American traditions, kindness and love, remain among our most powerful." ❤️ pic.twitter.com/q35Ka3zIWn
"Today, we are here for one of the most beloved traditions of the holiday season: Toys for Tots, led by the United States Marine Corps Reserves," Trump said. "For more than 75 years, Marines and volunteers across America collect and deliver new toys to children who need a little extra joy during Christmas. All wrapped with love, and great care."
"To everyone here at Quantico, and all those who support the Toys for Tots Foundation, thank you," she added. "This includes the Toy Association's generous support. I am grateful for your partnership and dedication to promoting fun and creativity. You help bring the delight of Christmas morning to millions of children, and you remind us that: of all American traditions, kindness and love remain among our most powerful."
"To the families of military personnel: you are the heart of today's celebration," Melania continued. "Your strength in the face of adversity is inspirational. Some of the children here today have a parent stationed away from home right now. I know this can be difficult. On behalf of our nation, thank you."
She concluded her remarks by wishing all the families a Merry Christmas and expressing gratitude for all they do for our country, reminding everyone that the greatest gift you can give at this time is love.
"This Christmas season, you, your friends, and your families should wish for the ultimate gift - love. After all, love travels further than Santa's sleigh and America's Ospreys," the first lady said.

There's one video of Melania speaking to a little girl wearing a red dress. The first lady can be seen speaking to her and then reaching out to pick up the little one. Pretty soon Santa arrives so that the little girl is looking eye to eye with jolly Old St. Nick, who gives the little one a high five.

Most likely, she took advantage of the one-on-one time with Kris Kringle, probably telling him what she wants to find under the tree this Christmas.
Last week, Melania took some time to spread holiday cheer to children at a local children's hospital in Washington, D.C., and once again, the images of our first lady spending time with children really warmed the heart at this time of year.
