Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) proved the Democrat meltdown is in full swing after he issued a "warning" to anyone who has provided financial funding for the construction of President Donald Trump's grand ballroom at the White House.
Speaking to MSNBC, the House minority leader said that the building of the ballroom is an example of what Trump's been doing since he was sworn in for his second presidency, claiming that Trump was running "the largest pay-to-play scheme in the history of the country," without providing any further proof.

"And probably soliciting donations from people who've got business before the United States government," he added. "And all of this is going to have to be investigated. It will. All of this will have to be uncovered. It will."
"And these people are going to be held accountable, no matter how long it takes," Jeffries continued. "And that's a warning to all of these people participating in this scheming to manipulate taxpayer dollars and, of course, to destroy the People's House. The White House belongs to the American people. It doesn't belong to Donald Trump."
The meltdown isn't just happening from Hakeem, but all over from those on the Left, ranging from former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's tone deaf post to leftist talking heads on the cable news outlets who apparently have no knowledge about the numerous changes that other presidents have made at the White House over the last few centuries.

Meltdown Underway: Democrats Lose Their Minds Over Trump 'Demolishing' the White House
I am not sure there has been a more Beltway issue than the ballroom and outrage we are seeing in a while. It completely dominated the Thursday White House Press briefing, too, with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt having to field one question after another about the ongoing construction. Apparently, there's nothing else more important to ask the White House about.
One reporter's repeated claim that Trump was doing something sordid with the construction proved that journalists would do well to hang out with more people who build and work with their hands. Ridiculous.
