Secretary of War Pete Hegseth felt the "need for speed" in classic "Top Gun" style in an epic video of him flying to the "danger zone" inside an F-18 fighter jet during his recent visit to Nevada's Naval Air Station Fallon.
In a teaser post on X, Hegseth shared several great snaps from his naval air station visit and wrote, "The [Joint Chiefs of Staff] Chairman [General Dan Caine] and I took a ride into the danger zone with TOPGUN at Naval Air Station Fallon. Incredible Americans."

In the brief clip, we see the two men getting into their gear for the flight and climbing into the cockpits: Hegseth in an F-18, and Caine, who piloted an F-16 fighter jet.
There are several long aerial shots of the flight, and then we see their arrival back on the ground.
As promised on Wednesday, the extended version of their ride was posted, and we simply cannot get enough of it.

In the clip that has since gone viral with 1.2 million views and counting as of this writing, Hegseth soars through the sky in the fighter jet cockpit as the pilot does maneuvers that look similar to those of Tom Cruise's character "Maverick" in the hit "Top Gun" movies.
At the end of the video, an emotionally pumped-up Secretary of War said, "So, the rest of the world, you are going to get 250 more years of this whoop a**…."

Oh, will there be a leftist/media freakout over Hegseth's "Top Gun" trip, just like the Democrats and liberals in the media have lost their minds over every change we have seen under President Donald Trump's guidance? It's pretty much a certainty, but who cares?
Whether it's changes at the White House as part of the construction underway for the building of a grand ballroom, the arrests/deportation of criminal illegal aliens, the termination of gender insanity and DEI in our military, and so much more, nearly 80 million of us voted for this. We are loving it!
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
