Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed up to the White House Monday looking very different than the last time he visited, and President Donald Trump's elated reaction was hard to miss.

Trump welcomed Zelensky and European leaders for peace talks, and the Ukrainian leader stepped out looking terrific, wearing an all black suit. The president clearly noticed, as he immediately reacted to the suit and pointed out how great Zelensky appeared.

"I can't believe it. I love it," Trump said, pointing to the leader's dapper attire. "Look at you."

It right away seemed to set the right tone, with Zelensky sporting a grin ear to ear, ahead of the two leaders' tense negotiations with a handful of other leaders that can hopefully finally put an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.

Before the pair headed inside the White House, Trump was asked what his message was to the Ukrainian people, and he said, "We love them."

But that wasn't the end of Trump's praise for the foreign leader's wardrobe choice of the day. Later, during a press conference in the Oval Office, a reporter remarked on the Ukrainian leader opting for a more professional attire this time around, and Trump once again celebrated his look.

"REPORTER: "President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit!"

"I said the same thing!" Trump replied as he put his arm on the leader's shoulder.

It was then Zelensky's turn to get a jab at the reporter, who happened to be the same one who called him out last time for not looking professional when he showed up at the White House. Given Trump's response, it's fair to say he loved it.

"Isn't that nice. That's the one who attacked you last time," Trump replied.

"I remember," Zelensky said, as the reporter apologized to him.

"You are in the same suit," he added, and Trump couldn't help but crack up at the dig at the White House reporter. "See, I changed, you are not."

Pretty good line from Zelensky and good choice on the suit this time, giving the absolute torching he got on his previous visit when he showed up in a black sweater similar to the fatigues, as RedState reported.

Zelensky was obviously focused on the visit going better than the last time and purposely decided to wear a suit while still wanting to sport a military look, Politico reported.

"This time the President [Zelenskyy] will be in a suit, but the style still remains in a military key with the same symbolism: He is the head of state, which is at war," said Elvira Gasanova, a Ukrainian businesswoman and designer of the Damirli brand that produces one of Zelenskyy's signature looks.

My RedState colleague Rusty Weiss reported about what happened the last time Zelensky came to the White House in his sweater attire and the disaster that was the infamous presser in the Oval Office.

"My second question for President Zelensky. Do you ever. Why don't you wear a suit?" asked Real America's Voice White House correspondent Brian Glenn.

"Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office, and you refuse to wear a suit. I just wanted to see ... Do you own a suit!?"

[JD] Vance immediately began chuckling, but Zelensky didn't seem amused and responded condescendingly.

"Do you have problems?" the Ukrainian leader shot back.

Undeterred, Glenn continued: "A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting this office."

"I will wear a costume after this war will finish," Zelensky snidely responded.

Let’s hope this is a sign of good things to come for the resolution of this war.
