"National Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day" at the White House sparked some adorable and truly great questions from the kids about President Donald Trump.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday welcomed the children of White House journalists and staff members into the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room. The kids got to ask questions about the president, which ranged from whether he liked to give hugs to what he will be doing about things like climate change.
The first little girl was too shy to ask the question, so her mom answered, “She wants to know if President Trump likes to give hugs.”

“You know, I think he does,” Leavitt replied. “I have seen him give many hugs to children and his family and our beautiful First Lady (Melania Trump). So, yes. I do think he likes to give hugs.”
Another child asked what Trump’s favorite food was, and the press secretary said, “Probably steak.”
One question that drew laughter from the secretary was what President Trump’s “favorite ice cream” is.

"I have seen the president eat ice cream sundaes before with chocolate sauce and some toppings too,” Leavitt replied. “Raise your hand if you like ice cream sundaes."
More than a handful of hands in the room shot into the air at that moment, as Leavitt joked, “It's a very popular policy position to have."
But one child asked possibly the best question, which also happened to draw the loudest laughter from those in attendance.
“Which is Donald Trump’s favorite president, besides himself?” the young girl asked.
“It’s a good question,” Leavitt replied. “Because it would be, probably himself. Perhaps he would say George Washington. I know he speaks very highly of George Washington, who was of course, the first president of our great country.”
“And he has his big beautiful portrait hanging in the Oval Office above the fireplace,” she added. “Good question.”
President Trump also took time out of his day to visit the kids on the South Lawn of the White House, where he showed off some of his iconic dance moves for the young White House visitors, as one video showed.
