According to multiple media outlets, Tom Steyer will dropping out of the presidential race after a third place and zero-delegate performance in South Carolina.
I’m told, per a source familiar, that Tom Steyer will be dropping out any minute now

Just breaking on @MSNBC: Tom Steyer is ending his presidential campaign.

Steyer is currently projected to come in third place in South Carolina, but below the 15% threshold needed to win any delegates whatsoever.
Steyer spent his own millions to bolster his numbers in the campaign but has had no sort of a victory – not even a single delegate – to show for it. There is no expected announcement from Steyer on who he may endorse, but that could change after Tuesday’s major multi-state primary.
