It is one thing to distance yourself from racism. In this modern day political life, you’ve just gotta be clear on a few things.

But, if you’re the personal attorney to the President of the United States, it’s probably a good idea to not imply that your client – the aforementioned President of the United States – is a racist.

Now, I don’t know if Cohen meant to imply that Donald Trump is racist, nor do I know if he is looking for a way to get himself fired by Trump so he can be free of this curse. But, what I do know is that this is poorly worded for someone who regularly represents a person in court and in the media.

Maybe I’m wrong. I dunno. But just in case I’m not and Cohen realizes he messed up/decides to delete it, here’s the tweet in image form!
