REPORT: Al Qaeda Planning Multi-City Attack Day Before Election

Several news outlets, including Fox News, are reporting that the U.S. intelligence agencies have received word about a possible multi-city terror attack in the U.S. the day before the election. While the reports have not been confirmed or even deemed credible, it does put agencies on high alert.

According to this CBS affiliate report, the possible targets are in New York, Texas, and Virginia.

Again, there’s no word on whether or not the threats are credible, but an attack the day before the election would be a huge disruption to the election process, and sewing chaos is the ultimate goal of groups like this. If any other information comes out, we’ll keep you updated.
