Most people, when they get diagnosed with pneumonia, don’t go out and do strenuous things. One of the most strenuous things you can do is run for president. Therefore, perhaps you should take some time off from running for president when you get pneumonia.

Hillary Clinton is not most people. She is ambitious, driven, and feels entitled to something she really hasn’t earned at all at any point in her career. Yet, here we are, speculating over what in God’s name is wrong with her. Her doctor has said she has pneumonia, and was diagnosed with it on Friday. Peter Daou, a Clinton cheerleader on Twitter, has praised her actions since the diagnosis.

After being diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, Hillary Clinton ran a two-hour national security meeting, gave a press conference, and spent an hour and a half in the heat at a September 11 commemoration ceremony. It was an impressive feat of physical strength that obliterated months of health conspiracies.

That is… a lot of stuff to do after a diagnosis like that. Why would anyone in their right mind put themselves through that? She’s already way past her prime, admitted that she suffered a concussion and it caused her to become confused with regard to classified email, and has been coughing her way through appearances for months. It is ill-advised at best to go out and subject yourself to more strenuous activity.

I’m not one of the health conspiracists, mind you. I don’t think she’s hiding like tuberculosis or anything, but I do think she has to take better care of herself. I’m just left to wonder if Hillary Clinton wants to get sicker. She is surrounded by people who should know better, yet she goes out and does all this crap after a serious diagnosis like pneumonia.

Someone should give her some chicken noodle soup and put her on bed rest for a week.

UPDATE: A few minutes after this was posted, the Clinton campaign announced she was canceling trips to the West Coast.
