BREAKING: Greta Van Susteren Leaving Fox News Immediately

On the same day that Gretchen Carlson reaches a settlement in her lawsuit against Roger Ailes, it looks like news personality Greta Van Susteren has decided to leave Fox News effectively.

Susteren was one of the Fox News staff to defend Ailes against Carlson’s allegations. It is unclear as to whether this has anything to do with the suit/settlement, or whether it might have anything to do with the persisting rumors that Trump is preparing to launch his own TV network.

The beneficiary of the departure, Brit Hume, will be taking over a prime time slot with a fairly solid and consistent audience.
