Iran Horks Up a 'We Made a US Warship Run Away' Story, 'Journalist' Bites on the BS

After getting their bunkers busted, Iran is desperate to seem scary. So they have a new "victory over the Great Satan" story: they scared off a US warship. Pro tip: No, they didn’t

Believing what the Iranians posit as “news” is about the same as believing what the “Palestinian Health Ministry” claims are legitimate death tolls (puppies included). It's like believing Hunter Biden was the smartest guy in the room, or Jerry Nadler is on Ozempic.

Today (which is tomorrow) in the Persian Gulf, the Iranians claimed that one of their antiquated helicopters scared off an American destroyer with some harsh words. It also claimed a “fly-over" for good measure.

The headline from “The Daily Express,” written by Debadrita Sur, foretells an ominous encounter. Apparently, the mighty Iranians scared the bellbottoms off of the sailors on a US warship. It tucked tail and ran.

"USS Fitzgerald forced to flee after intense clash with Iranian helicopter"

The details:

It comes amid heightened tensions between U.S. and Iran after Donald Trump ordered airstrikes to destroy three of Tehran's nuclear enrichment sites in Iran - with a terrifying map revealed the US regions where 75% of people will die in a nuclear World War 3

Trump has issued a fresh attack warning to Iran "if necessary" after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran "cannot give up" nuclear ambition. It comes after alarming Trump health fears over a huge bulge spotted in his pants.

I kid you not. She actually wrote those words. Sure, my opening paragraphs were tongue-in-cheek, but that quote pull is the actual language used by “journalist.”

She goes on to write:

"This morning, the American destroyer 'Fitzgerald' attempted to approach Iranian-controlled waters in a provocative move," Iran-based Fars News Agency claimed on their Telegram channel.

It added that an Iranian helicopter "quickly flew over the destroyer and issued a stern warning to leave the area."

The American ship allegedly "threatened the Iranian helicopter, but the army pilot continued the mission with authority and warned again."

This follows the Iranians getting their nuke bunkers busted (no bulges remaining). A year ago this month, I wrote about the pride of the Iranian Navy doing a belly-flop.

On Monday, Iran’s most “advanced” warship, the destroyer Sahand (named, yes, for a mountain), was in dock for “repairs.” Someone must have left a door open because the ship took on water and, according to Iranian news mouthpieces, “lost its balance.” It slowly filled with seawater and rolled. The Sahand lost its balance and rolled to port, sinking into the silty muck.

With most of its Navy either underwater or under repair, and with its nuke program buried under a billion tons of dirt and concrete, it would seem that the Iranians would look for any provocation and claim they sank the carrier Gerald Ford.

To put a bow on this, the video the Iran-released video never shows the helicopter “flying over” the Fitzgerald. If it had, it would have joined the Sahand underwater. Did an Iranian copter pilot scare off a U.S. warship? Not a chance.

We’ll likely see a statement soon from the US Navy that the Fitzgerald was well within international waters and left the area when it wanted, not under orders of a copter pilot. What it likely won't advertise is that the Iranian helicopter was "painted" for destruction.

Had the Fitzgerald had any indication of hostile intent, one of its Phalanx CIWS would have lit up the Iranian helicopter and turned it into a thousand little copter pieces. I doubt even the Iranians believe their own propaganda. Maybe the only true believer in this nonsense writes for Daily Express.
