Lincoln mused about America’s destruction. He said, “[Destruction] must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.”

Our military was supposed to be immune from the silly predations of pronoun cops, inclusion and equity liaisons, and woke agendas. Then Biden was sworn in, and it all changed. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs testified that he wanted to know about “white rage” and white privilege, and was uncritical of CRT.

Civilian leadership and willing general officers who are far more interested in climbing leadership ladders than preserve military readiness, are slowly destroying our military. Our enemies, like the Chinese, are watching–and laughing. Our military is more concerned with hurt feelings than hurting the enemy. Don’t want to run in the Air Force for PT? No problem, walk.

A recent report shows that the Navy is laden with ladder-climbers rather than war-fighters.

Said one retired senior enlisted leader:

“I guarantee you every unit in the Navy is up to speed on their diversity training. I’m sorry that I can’t say the same of their ship handling training.”

A current officer, who is a black woman, gets it–and she’s worried:

“Sometimes I think we care more about whether we have enough diversity officers than if we’ll survive a fight with the Chinese navy. It’s criminal”

In May, we saw the military dispatch active duty personnel to Pride Month parades. Soldiers were seen carrying the US flag and the flags of all the branches. Right behind those flags was a rainbow flag of equal size and prominence. The DoD website virtue signaled, along with corporate America, with rainbow colored logos and soldiers celebrating the alphabet regiment.

The DoD didn’t just acknowledge, it actively spent a month paying “tribute to the LGBTQ+” lifestyle. A soldier just posted a video stating that she’s not sure she can support the country she swore to serve and protect because of our Supreme Court returning decision-making to the states. It’s unlikely she will face any punishment because her opinion is the policy of this administration. Conversely, a retired general was suspended from his DoD contract because he mocked Jill Biden on his own time.

Now, no one wants to join, and real war fighters were just forced out because they wouldn’t take the jab. Don’t worry, we have Twitter and Tik Tok warriors in charge now.

Long gone is the DoD mission to defend the nation. We’re screwed.
