There is rightful indignation directed at Andrew Cuomo for his creepy sexual predation but we should never lose sight of why Cuomo should have resigned last year.

When Covid hit last year, infecting and killing the elderly, Cuomo signed an order that required nursing homes to take in infected patients. Covid deaths spiked. Later, when the data looked awful and Cuomo was rightly blamed, Cuomo and his staff hid the data. Yet Cuomo was lauded by celebrities. A book deal followed. He was handed an Emmy for Pandemic news conference acting.

In politics, pretty rhetoric trumped facts.

Cuomo will soon be gone from the governor’s mansion, but the blood on his hand will never wash off.
