Trump administration Press Secretary Sean Spicer just set off an explosion of incredulity across the internet. Spicer told reporters that Paul Manafort who served as the Trump campaign’s chairman for half of 2016 only “played a very limited role” in the campaign.
Manafort. Was. The. Campaign. Chairman.
He’s also wanted for questioning by Ukrainian prosecutors in connection with a corruption investigation in Kiev and Spicer might be trying way too hard to distance the administration from him.

BREAKING: SPICER says Trump CAMPAIGN MANAGER Paul MANAFORT had "a limited role in the campaign." WTF's he talking about? This is a meltdown.

Sean Spicer just asserted that Manafort — the Trump campaign manager from April-August 2016 — played only a limited role in the campaign.

Spicer is just flat out lying by saying Manafort and Flynn had small roles. That is a deliberate lie.

Wow – Spicer now describing Manafort as playing a "very limited role" for a "very limited" time. He was chairman of the campaign!!!

Michael Flynn, who was national security adviser, was mere campaign "volunteer," Spicer says. Manafort played a "very limited" role. Got it?
