By now, no one expects Vice President Joe Biden to make it through public remarks without some ridiculous hyperbole, a semi-offensive gaffe, or some other verbal blunder. (“Stand up, Chuck!”) He really nailed it in his speech after receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom though.
After a seemingly endless stretch of groveling worship and praise for his clean and articulate boss, Biden unleashed a string of “nevers” that sounded like he was trying to sing a Bill Withers song. Then he locked eyes with President Obama and emphatically said:
“I never once doubted that your judgement was flawed. Never once.”
HAHAHAHAHA. Preach!
Obama’s smirk at the moment of truth seems to say “You had ONE job, Joe.”
