Eight races are left to call - seven in California and one in Alaska. The Alaska race call is delayed due to their ranked choice voting format, and in California mail ballots are still being received through Tuesday.
In California, it looks like incumbent Republicans Michelle Steel and Ken Calvert will keep their seats, while John Duarte and Mike Garcia are facing a tougher battle. There are potential flips still, with just a few thousand votes separating Republican Scott Baugh and Democrat Dave Min in the battle to replace Rep. Katie Porter in Orange County and less than a thousand representing Democrat incumbent Rep. Jim Costa and Republican challenger Michael Maher.
California Republican Party data director Cole Patterson says there are approximately 4 million ballots remaining to be processed out of more than 12.5 million.
CA has 12,621,743 ballots that have been tallied, with an estimated 4 million or so remaining to be processed.
