EXCLUSIVE: Sources Say Joe Biden Suffered Neurological Event Before Suddenly Leaving Las Vegas

Nearly a week ago President Joe Biden abruptly canceled a speaking engagement in Las Vegas after mingling with voters at a local Mexican restaurant, the event organizers being the first to announce that Biden had tested positive for COVID and explaining that he was flying to his Delaware beach house to isolate.

In light of the Biden administration's poor record of truth-telling when it comes to POTUS' medical condition, many people questioned whether that COVID diagnosis was a convenient way to get Biden out of the spotlight for a few days, or if there was more to the story. Based on the reporting of Charlie Kirk and Jordan Schachtel, portions of which were confirmed independently by RedState's Brittany Sheehan, and exclusive details provided to RedState by a well-placed credible source, it seems that skepticism was justified. According to these sources, Biden had a sudden medical emergency and was headed toward University Medical Center trauma center before his team decided to "medivac" him out instead, and that medical emergency was some type of neurological event like a transient ischemic attack.

Kirk tweeted Monday:

Got a weird lead on a story that people should look into. I got a call from a source close to Las Vegas Metro. The official story was that Joe Biden's trip was cut short last week due to COVID. However, according to this source, US Secret Service informed LV Metro that there was an emergency situation involving Joe Biden and to close necessary streets so that POTUS could be transported immediately to University Medical, which they began to do in earnest. Then, mysteriously, there was a stand down order and the USSS informed local Vegas PD that they were going to "medivac" POTUS to Johns Hopkins, which they presumed meant fly him back east ASAP. Apparently the rumor mill in the police department was that Joe Biden was dying or possibly already dead.

RedState's Sheehan confirmed with sources at Las Vegas Metro Police Department that the department did shut down the streets so Biden could be transported to UMC but then Biden's security detail suddenly diverted to the airport.

Schachtel spoke to "over half a dozen law enforcement officers who participated in the president’s security detail and others who spoke from firsthand knowledge of the incident that unfolded that day" about what happened and provided the following narrative:

Then suddenly, when [Biden] was supposed to be scheduled to deliver the UnidosUS speech, all hell broke loose.

Several law enforcement officers on duty that day were informed over the radio that the president was dealing with an unspecified medical emergency. Far from a case of the sniffles, this was sent out on encrypted police airwaves as if something akin to a five-alarm fire had broken out.

Our sources estimate that it was “easily” hundreds of Las Vegas Metropolitan officers and employees who heard the broadcasts live, so a curious media shouldn’t have a problem reporting any follow-ups to this story. The dispatches made clear that this was much more than a mere change of plans, because it set into motion so much of their on-duty emergency response apparatus.

Radio dispatchers responsible for coordinating with the president’s detail requested an immediate “surge” of law enforcement resources into the area, both to secure the vicinity and to expedite the president’s movement.

According to these law enforcement sources, the president’s motorcade was initially planning on heading to University Medical Center (UMC), which was located about two miles up the road from the president’s position. Police answered the call, rapidly deploying their “in the box” emergency squads to faciltate the reroute to the hospital.

But the president’s team decided not to bring him to the hospital. The plans changed in rapid succession once more. It was then relayed over to on duty officers on the president’s detail that they would need to clear an express route to Harry Reid International Airport. The police assigned to the president’s detail and the emergency “in the box” squads then redeployed their resources to getting the president out of town as fast and as safe as humanly possible.

A credible source in a position to know, but who is not a medical professional, tells RedState that Biden displayed stroke-type symptoms leading to that decision to rush him to UMC:

US Secret Service diverted from the route to University Medical Center back to the tarmac when their doctor determined it wasn't a full stroke, and they could treat him on Air Force One.

The source added that it's now believed that Biden had a TIA.

On July 18, a New York Times writer who was traveling with the campaign reported that while on July 16 Biden seemed "energetic," that changed by Wednesday, July 17:

Mr. Biden seemed much more frail as he stepped into a dining room at a Mexican restaurant, the Original Lindo Michoacán Desert Inn. Walking more slowly and looking pale, Mr. Biden took group selfies and squeezed next to patrons in a booth as an upbeat Latin song playing over the restaurant speakers.

...

He then disappeared from public view for nearly two hours while reporters waited outside the restaurant in extreme heat, pacing along the president’s motorcade and knocking on the car windows to ask staff members for an update.

Then reporters began to get alerts and text messages from people at the UnidosUS conference, where Mr. Biden had been scheduled to speak in the afternoon.

Ms. Murguía’s announcement surprised even some of the White House staff members in Mr. Biden’s motorcade, who quickly rushed into their vehicles. The motorcade pulled away from the restaurant, and the White House confirmed the diagnosis, saying Mr. Biden would return to Delaware and isolate.

A BBC journalist reported much the same:

The end of the road was the Original Lindo Michoácan Restaurant, Las Vegas, Nevada. This was one of those highly orchestrated campaign stops where the president mingles with voters. The press was ushered inside to capture the president’s entrance. As the door swung open, I was struck by how pale he looked, and how much slower he seemed than the day before as he shook hands with diners.

We shouted questions about the growing list of Democrats questioning his fitness to run – he didn’t answer. Then we were hustled back out to the press vans while he did a radio interview inside.

We waited. And waited. In the searing Nevada heat we spent more than 90 minutes in the press vans with the entire motorcade stalled. It was by now obvious that something was wrong. Suddenly, an email dropped from a BBC colleague to say the host of his next speech venue had announced, on stage, that Mr Biden had just tested positive for Covid.

As I tried to approach a White House staffer to find out what was going on, I was abruptly ordered to get back in my van, and told that we were leaving. The motorcade began rolling and we were speeding our way through the suburbs of Las Vegas, destination unknown. The campaign was changing course. Suddenly, amid the flashing lights and police outriders, the airport came into view. The president was going home to Delaware to recover from Covid, the campaign trip was over.

When Biden arrived in Delaware, video showed him seeming to need assistance entering his limousine.

Schachtel found a video from a local Las Vegas newscast that day confirming that UMC was on alert and prepared to receive and treat Biden.

Biden wasn't seen again until just a few moments ago, when he boarded Air Force One to head back to the White House. The only word he said seemed to be "Well," in response to reporters' questions about how he felt.
