With Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ entrance into the 2024 presidential race, the campaign for the Republican nomination has begun in earnest. Sure, several GOP candidates had already declared and have been campaigning, but none have made a splash in the polls – and it’s obvious that Donald Trump has considered DeSantis to be his only true competition for a while now.
