New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-GrandmaKiller) held a press conference Wednesday at which he announced “updated micro-cluster focus zones,” which roughly translates to, “areas in which I assert even more control over every aspect of your life.”
During the press conference, one reporter had a question about schools opening or not, because these clusters are very confusing. Apparently, questioning the man who already wrote a book about how successful he’s been in beating back the pandemic as his state experiences yet another surge is really terrible form.
Gov. Cuomo just had a mental breakdown when a reporter simply asked a question about whether or not schools are open in NY tomorrow.

The question:
I’m a little unclear about New York City schools. The other day you said this is the city’s decision. They have an agreement at 3 percent. Today you said, ‘Well, I might have to impose an orange zone,’ and, ‘I might have to close the schools, which an orange zone does.
So, what’s going on? Does the City still have the ability to close its schools? Are you now taking control and saying that you have the power to make this decision? And, for the millions of parents who want to know, are the schools gonna open tomorrow in NYC?
The answer:
All right. First of all, let’s try not to be obnoxious and offensive in your tone…
Wow. Obnoxious and offensive by pointing out the Gov’s inconsistencies and power grabs?
…because you’re 100 percent wrong. These laws have all been in effect for months.
Laws? Aren’t those the things that are passed by legislators and then signed by the Governor after proper deliberation? Yeah. Mr. Gov. Cuomo, you’re referring to “Executive Orders” as laws. You’re the one who’s wrong.
Cuomo then proceeded to belittle the reporter and talk in circles, confusing every person in the room and every person watching the video. He spoke very slow, as if the reporter were a moron. A few highlights:
If you would have been paying attention, you would have known that we closed the schools in New York City two weeks ago…don’t you remember that?
Then he yells at the guy:
“You’re now gonna override?” We did it already. That’s the law. An orange zone and a red zone. Follow the facts.
Another reporter tried to restate the question, and even said he didn’t think the original question was obnoxious at all. Cuomo replies:
Well, I don’t really care what you think. Of course you agree with him, because you’re in the same business with him.
None of us really care what Cuomo thinks, but sadly we’re forced to hear from him and hundreds of thousands of New York families are forced to be without one or more family member this Thanksgiving because of his inane, illegal, and deadly policies. Instead of answering the question like a real servant legislator (do those exist anymore?), Cuomo vividly illustrates that in addition to being incompetent, he’s a condescending prick.
How’s that for an offensive and obnoxious tone?
