As previously reported, on Saturday afternoon a Florida man plowed his van into a Trump campaign voter registration tent in Jacksonville. Fortunately no one was injured, but the driver of the van was not immediately apprehended.
At approximately 2:45 p.m. a multi-colored brown and gold van driven by what is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s, accelerated into a crowd of volunteers at the Kernan Village shopping center located at 11900 Atlantic Boulevard.

Predictably, those on the left doubted that the event happened and called it a hoax. Some suggested that the volunteers should call the police if a crime were committed (obviously missing the photo including the Sheriff vehicle), and others saying they should be cited for wasting law enforcement time on a hoax.
This is so staged c'mon

The license plate on that van is clear as day. If this was real, you would be reporting on the person.

The driver, 27-year-old Gregory Timm, was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office hours later and charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief and driving on suspended license. He is a member of a local union, training to become a sound engineer, and has had multiple run-ins with the law.

Mark Alfieri, who was volunteering, said:
“Kind of out of the blue, a man approached us in a van, was waving at us, kind of a friendly demeanor, thought he was coming up to talk to us. Instead, he accelerated his vehicle and plowed right into our tent, our tables.”
Authorities won’t say at this time whether they believe the attack was politically related, but it’s pretty darn clear that it was.
