BREAKING: Gustavo Perez Arriaga Arrested in Murder of Police Officer in CA

Stanislaus County (CA) authorities have confirmed the arrest of Gustavo Perez Arriaga, suspect in the Christmas murder of Newman Police Department officer Ron Singh. Arriaga was arrested in Kern County, south of Stanislaus, allegedly while he was attempting to get back to Mexico. Arriaga had two prior DUI’s and was in the country illegally.

Two of Arriaga’s associates have been arrested for assisting Arriaga and impeding the investigation.
