Maria Garcia, a spokeswoman for San Bernardino City Unified, said:
“We have a shooter down and three victims. One of them is a teacher, the other two are unknown, and their condition is unknown. We believe the situation is contained.”
San Bernardino was the site of a terrorist attack in December, 2015. Most likely because of that, local officials were quick to release information regarding this shooting and contain the situation.
Students have been evacuated to a nearby elementary school.
