As sure as former First Lady Michelle Obama will cry about racism and complain, former President Barack Obama will use a tragedy to become lecturer-in-chief about how things should be handled because he was a successful two-term president. This is the same man who engineered a coup against President Donald Trump 45 and was a puppet master in the Autopen's administration, but as long as he's still around, he will work to insert himself where he is not welcome.
More and more, we discover that Barack Obama is not just an elitist liar, but extremely petty. This is our shocked face.
In the wake of the Saturday shooting in Minneapolis, where ICU nurse Alex Pretti brought a loaded gun to protest and disrupt a Border Patrol operation and ended up losing his life, former President "Petty" Obama posted an entire statement to X to "White Knight Pretti" as well as stick his thumb in the eye of the Trump administration.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault. pic.twitter.com/0JmEsJ1QFW

Obama begins:
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
Which "core" values are under assault? The values of safety, security, and not being afraid a criminal illegal is going to rape, murder, or ram you with a car or commercial truck? Or is it the core value of not having your First Amendment and other civil liberties violated? As I recall, Obama was not big on civil liberties, since he used his presidential powers to not just spy on journalists (Hello, James Rosen and Sharyl Attkisson), but to weaponize the IRS to block Tea Party and pro-liberty groups who opposed him from acquiring 501(c)3 status so they could fundraise against his 2012 re-election.
Of course, Obama just leaves that one hanging, because his "core values" are flexible.
He blathers on.
Federal law enforcement and immigration agents have a tough job. But Americans expect them to carry out their duties in a lawful, accountable way, and to work with, rather than against, state and local officials to ensure public safety.
That's not what we're seeing in Minnesota. In fact, we're seeing the opposite.
Well, hey, Barry, why don't you talk to your friends, Minnesota Gov. "Tampon" Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey? President Donald Trump, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Kristi Noem, and other federal officials like Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino have petitioned both the governor and the mayor on multiple occasions to allow DHS, ICE, and Border Patrol into jails and prisons so that criminal illegals can be released into DHS custody rather than into the public, forcing the agency to perform these targeted sweeps. Yet, Walz and Frey continue to refuse because, "muh neighbors," and continue to ramp up protesters with their violent and insulting rhetoric about ICE and DHS presence in the state.

So, maybe lecture those two about cooperation and working in concert, because the problem doesn't appear to be with federal officials. But Obama already knows this.
You ordered the extrajudicial and targeted killings of American citizens, including minors, via drone strikes.

Sit this one out, Barry. https://t.co/wGyFtV2szc
Here's where Obama gets into the meat of his supposed take-down. He lodges insults against not just ICE, but the Trump administration's handling of their surge, dismissively calling them "masked ICE recruits" instead of acknowledging the depth of training and years of service the majority of these officers and agents have undergone. Instead, he turns up "President Petty" to 11.
For weeks now, people across the country have been rightly outraged by the spectacle of masked ICE recruits and other federal agents acting with impunity and engaging in tactics that seem designed to intimidate, harass, provoke and endanger the residents of a major American city. These unprecedented tactics — which even the former top lawyer of the Department of Homeland Security in the first Trump administration has characterized as embarrassing, lawless and cruel — have now resulted in the fatal shootings of two U.S. citizens. And yet rather than trying to impose some semblance of discipline and accountability over the agents they've deployed, the President and current administration officials seem eager to escalate the situation, while offering public explanations for the shootings of Mr. Pretti and Renee Good that aren't informed by any serious investigation — and that appear to be directly contradicted by video evidence.
Talk about deceptive and disingenuous. The tactics Border Czar Tom Homan has been using in his targeted sweeps across multiple cities are the same ones he used in 2013, during his tenure as Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations for President Barack Obama. I'm old enough to remember that Homan received a Presidential Rank Award from Obama in 2015. So, what does Obama think has changed in terms of tactics? Wait, he didn't think, nor does he intend to. During his two-term tenure, Obama received the title of "Deporter-in-Chief," and also had 67 illegal immigrants die in ICE custody under his watch. Yet there wasn't one protest to speak of on this. The Obama administration was in the crosshairs with the ACLU and human rights groups for its subpar standards at ICE facilities, including putting kids in cages.
Oops.

67 people died while in ICE custody during the Obama administration - no protests, no riots
The Obama years saw migrant detention systems plagued by documented issues of substandard medical care, contributing to preventable deaths - all under the director of Barack Obama.
According to the ACLU, those violations in medical standards factored into at least eight deaths between 2010 and 2012 alone. By mid-2016, count reached 56 deaths under Obama, including six su*cides.
About 67 total deaths happened during Obama's full time in office, according to ICE records.
Critics say that even though Obama's administration oversaw one of the highest death rates of migrants in custody, No major riots erupted, no protests and no coordinated effort to disrupt ICE operations or 'take out' ICE agents.
#ChristinaAguayoNewsMeanwhile, coordinated anti-ICE protests - that turn into riots - have erupted across the nation.
ICE "tactics" didn't result in either the shooting deaths of Renee Nicole Good or Alex Pretti. The fact that both Good and Pretti went out of their way to harass, intimidate, and disrupt lawful immigration operations has become increasingly evident as these incidents are being investigated. Obama tried to gaslight on the video evidence, claiming that DHS and Border Patrol defenses have been "contradicted by video evidence." That's a load of horse hockey.
The reason the Left lost Renee Good as a poster child for ICE brutality is that the video evidence showed she not only stalked ICE agents for hours, but when she was about to be arrested, refused to exit the car and caused harm to the ICE agent by ramming him with her vehicle. This caused the ICE agent internal injuries and resulted in Good's death.
But these are the shaded half-truths that Obama has trafficked in since, "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor." It's a part of his brand.
This has to stop. I would hope that after this most recent tragedy, administration officials will reconsider their approach, and start finding ways to work constructively with Governor Walz and Mayor Frey as well as state and local police to avert more chaos and achieve legitimate law enforcement goals.
In the meantime, every American should support and draw inspiration from the wave of peaceful protests in Minneapolis and other parts of the country.
Where are these peaceful protests, exactly? Certainly not in Minneapolis or Portland. Perhaps Obama was referring to the Tuesday, January 20, "Free America Walkouts" to protest ICE and the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump's second-term inauguration.
According to news reports, there were a few thousand people in selected blue cities who participated. Probably more people attended Charlie Kirk's Memorial service than showed their faces at these ridiculous "peaceful" protests. No thanks, Barry: we'll choose for ourselves what inspires us as citizens.
Obama mercifully ended his diatribe with this.
They are a timely reminder that ultimately it's up to each of us as citizens to speak out against injustice, protect our basic freedoms, and hold our government accountable.
Under the Obama administration none of these rights were respected, so this missive is about as empty as his suit.
