A Witness Claims MN Domestic Terrorist Was Obstructing ICE, Then Appears to Change Her Tune

As RedState reported, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem said in a Wednesday press conference that the Minneapolis woman shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent had been "stalking and impeding" the agents' work throughout the day and then weaponized her vehicle in an attempt to run over one of the agents. Noem deemed the tragic incident "an act of domestic terrorism."

The woman who lost her life has been identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. As Bob Hoge reported, Good was not alone at the anti-ICE protest. She had a romantic partner who was supposedly outside the car filming the exchange between Good and the ICE agents before Good was shot.

Videos of the incident have flooded social media, as both sides tailor their interpretations to fit their narrative. One of those recordings purports to show the self-proclaimed wife of Good videotaping the incident and cheering on her spouse even as tragedy struck.

Around the same time the video of this romantic partner surfaced, another video appeared of a woman in the neighborhood who claimed she witnessed the incident and the shooting, and even said she took video of Good's body slumped over the steering wheel. It appears the video was recorded soon after the Wednesday shooting, and the independent journalist who interviewed this woman posted it on X. In the video, the journalist asked some pointed questions about what this woman thought about Good's actions and intent. This woman claimed that Good was "blocking traffic" and "doing what she was set out to do."

Here is my own transcription of the video:

WOMAN: I woke up to some commotion, I heard some whistles going on out front, so I came downstairs to see what was going on, I wasn't even dressed. And there was a car, the Honda Pilot that's crashed over there right now, there's a car blocking two lanes of Portland traffic.

The ICE agents got out, and they were saying, "Get out here! Get out here!" and she was, what looked like she was trying to turn around, and the ICE agent was in front of her car and he pulled out a gun and put it right in, he was... his midriff was was on her bumper and he reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face, what looked like three or four times... And then she must have just stepped on the gas. She stepped on the gas immediately, maybe got 100 feet or so, and ran into the telephone pole and some cars, and she was slumped over in her car. You could see that she was probably gone.

The woman also claimed that a physician neighbor asked if he could check Good's body for a pulse, but the agents would not allow him near the scene. This video now making the rounds on X appears to corroborate this story and also includes a woman screaming profanities at the ICE agents.

Warning: Strong Language.

WATCH:

The woman then said that EMS finally arrived after what seemed like 15 minutes. She alleged that the EMS attendants didn't even take Good out on a stretcher, but carried her out like a "sack of f*%king potatoes."

The woman concluded her eyewitness account.

They clearly wanted her out of there. Because she was the main car leading the protest, was my understanding. I talked to another guy who was driving behind her.

She was very successful in blocking traffic, she was doing what she set out to do, and so they wanted to get her the hell out of there. Yeah.

The journalist then asked, "So, It looked like she was impeding ICE vehicles?"

Definitely, yeah. That was her goal.

WATCH:

It would seem this woman's eyewitness account corroborates Secretary Noem's account of the incident. Good was there to antagonize and physically obstruct the ICE agents' progress until she was confronted. Where it went horribly wrong for Good is that she foolishly believed her actions would not have any consequences. She is dead as a result of this.

But some questions arise over this witness' story. Why the whistles? How did this witness talk with the person in the car that was behind Good's vehicle in order to discover that "she was the main car leading the protest"? How would this woman know what Good's goal truly was if she had never spoken with her? Much of what this woman says begs more questions in order to ascertain what she isn't saying. This woman knows way more than what she is letting on.

Fast forward to Wednesday evening, and the leftist evening cable shows. Emily Heller, a woman who lived in that same neighborhood and who, oddly enough, had similar coloring, voice cadence, and hair color/cut as the female eyewitness in the X video posted above, made an appearance on MS NOW's "All In With Chris Hayes." Heller wanted to give her own "eyewitness account" of the shooting.

WATCH:

There are similarities between the X video account and the Hayes interview, with some minor differences.

In the X video, the woman eyewitness said she had just gotten out of the shower when she heard the whistles. She got dressed and went downstairs, where she witnessed the ICE agents' clash with Good.

Emily Heller told Hayes she was starting breakfast and that she "didn't have shoes on." So, she put them on and went outside on her porch. Heller gave this telling detail to Hayes: "My community is pretty organized around ICE raids, so when they see them happening, people gather and blow whistles to alert the community. People come out. And so, the whistles did their job, I came out onto my front porch[..]."

Well, that explains what those whistles were for, and the already tense tenor of the neighborhood even before ICE arrived on the scene and Good was killed.

As the woman in the X video described, Heller also stated that she saw a woman in a vehicle, blocking the road and impeding the ICE caravan from getting through.

Heller's demeanor was markedly different than the breathless telling of the other woman in the X video. Heller calmly provides even further details on the number of ICE agents and the number of their vehicles. Where she matches the woman in the X video is that she affirmed that Good was indeed an anti-ICE protester and that Good's intent was to impede ICE from doing its job.

Here is the interesting difference: In the X video account, the woman said the ICE agents yelled, "Get out! Get out!" However, Heller tells Hayes that the ICE agents were screaming at Good to "move! move! move!" and when Good did not respond accordingly, the agents "got really aggressive." It is at this point that Heller surmises that Good must have panicked and tried to reverse. When the agent who had approached her car leaned over the hood and "shot her point blank in the face."

Other notable changes from the account of the woman in the X video are Heller's minimization of the number of protesters (10 or so) and her assignation of the ICE agents' motives and movements. Heller alleged, "There were a lot of ICE agents. It was extremely chaotic, the ICE agents seemed like they didn't know what they were doing[...] They seemed totally unprepared."

How would Heller know this, exactly? Does she have a background in law enforcement training and tactics? And why would Heller need to mention it at all, unless the intention is to seed a certain narrative? Considering where she chose to share her eyewitness account, this was pretty obvious.

Heller also revealed something else that was pretty telling. She said that there was someone else in the car with Good before everything went down. This other person got out of the car before Good tried to flee. The romantic partner, perhaps?

Heller went on to describe the moments after Good had been shot and used similar language and details given by the woman in the X video about a physician who tried to offer assistance. What was also almost verbatim to the woman in the X video was how Heller described Good being carried from the scene.

About five EMS paramedics came, and then they administered care... whatever, examined her. And, umm, at that point they carried her out by her limbs. She was completely limp, they didn't have a stretcher, she was just carried out like a... sack of potatoes.

Exactly what the woman in the X video said. The only thing Heller left out was the expletive.

Hayes then quoted DHS Secretary Noem's account of the incident, that the ICE agents acted in self-defense and that Good weaponized her vehicle in an act of domestic terrorism, and asked Heller what she thought about this characterization.

That's the only reason why I'm here. I don't think I have the best words right now. I'd prefer to not do this, but I knew after witnessing it, that this would be misconstrued into self-defense, which it absolutely is not. This was totally preventable and absolutely unnecessary.

Of course, Hayes lapped the whole thing up because it dovetailed perfectly with his TDS-riddled, "ICE are Nazis" narrative.

Lo and behold, Heller appears in another cable interview, this time on CNN's "Erin Burnett Outfront." From this clip, she again relates her eyewitness account, but supplies even more detail than the media hit on MS NOW.

WATCH:

I mean, that's the only reason why I'm here. I don't think I'm the most articulate person, I don't think that... I don't want to be here, but I knew that this would be twisted and it would be self-defense, and that's absolutely not what happened. My life is forever changed from having witnessed this, and I just can't let this narrative that it was self-defense go any further because it's absolutely not what it was. My neighborhood, my neighbors, we're all going to be pretty traumatized from this for a long time.

Heller's story becomes more embellished with each telling, and definitely more articulate.

Curious.

Burnett described the video footage posted above of the physician begging to help and ICE refusing him access to the body. Heller added even more context to this situation. From this fresh telling, it appears by this point Heller was off her front porch and now in the midst of the chaos. How exactly did that occur?

Now we've moved from curious to suspicious.

Heller reiterated the story she related to Hayes about how Good's body was carried out, but left out the "sack of potatoes" line.

It would take some deeper analysis of the X video to find out exactly who the supposed witness is and whether she and Emily Heller are one and the same. Through casual investigation, it sure does appear to be the case. If they are the same person, then it begs the question: Why change your story from Good was not just obstructing ICE agents, but was the ring leader causing disruption, to the narrative that the ICE agent killed her in cold blood? Media interviews on cable networks don't just drop out of thin air so quickly: Who is Emily Heller, and what does she gain from being the eyewitness speaking "truth" that debunks a self-defense narrative?

This is one of the reasons why, in a court of law, eyewitness accounts do not hold a great deal of weight. Other evidence is weighed with it to make a determination, but people will draw their own conclusions based solely on this woman's changing testimony.

This entire mess is a tragic waste. Whether Good was intentionally obstructing or simply "scared," what is clear is that she made a terrible choice to be on that street, and an even worse choice to confront ICE agents. It never ends well, but perhaps that is the goal of all this.

The white-knighting of Renee Nicole Good is already happening. Hayes, Burnett, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and all these crisis actors are frothing at the mouth to have another Summer of Love and make Good into a martyr like George Floyd. There is practically a chorus of people all over social media digging up unsubstantiated information and photos that paint Good as this innocent, who was looking after her neighbors when she was gunned down by ICE fascists.

An investigation will happen, but the fake narrative has already been embedded. This has become an excuse to light a match and set things off. Emily Heller, and this other witness who may or may not be her, are among the many things that are suspicious about this horrific incident.
